Hi everyone!
I'm Isabel Suarez, a Law student from Mexico City studying in Universidad Iberoamericana Santa Fe. I am studying abroad in UTS Sydney because I always wanted to travel Australia.
As a nature lover I think there's no better place to hug trees! There are so many beautiful national parks and beautiful places around to meet with Mother Nature!
I never imagined I would travel Australia in my 20's, it is so far from my home country that I saw it like an impossible place to go, dreams really come true! My favourite place around Sydney are the blue mountains, there are so many beautiful views and so many different types of vegetation that it's the perfect place to explore! I even saw wild kangaroos once!
My favourite place I have travelled around are the Whitsunday islands. The white sand beaches, the hiking trails in the rain forest and the marine life are one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen in my life. I can say I'm in love with that place.
My life as a student in UTS has been great, I've learnt so much. I am doing 2 law subjects and one textile design course, because I wanted to learn new things. The teachers are great and I am learning a lot because law in Australia and law in Mexico are very different, it's good to learn it from different perspectives!
