Living Life Down Under

With two suitcases in both hands, a lot of excitement in my stomach, and about

24 hours later, I finally arrived in my new home.

Sydney; the city I immediately fell in love with.

Thanks to my 6-bed flat share in the UTS student residence and the countless

events, I didn't find the start of my new life particularly difficult.

This allowed me to easily connect with many other students, who I can now even

call friends for life.

UTS offers many exciting subjects, so I

was able to enroll in classes that interested me and helped me develop skills for my professional future and my

personal growth.

One of my favorite places at the

university is the library with a view over

the city and the campus.

As a balance, I did a lot with my friends,

we went out, hiked in the diverse

surroundings of Sydney, or watched the

sunrise on one of our favorite beaches.

Whale watching on a random Tuesday?

Sure, why not?!

The great thing about Sydney is that so

many cultures come together, and everyone can learn something from each

other. People are so open-minded and supportive!

My time here has already taught me a lot and boosted my self-confidence

enormously.

I can only recommend everyone to

take the big step of studying abroad

and step out of their comfort zone,

because the experiences that come

with it, even if it can be difficult at

times will be helpful for the rest of

the life.

I'm excited to see what happens

next, and before I travel back with

my two suitcases and maybe one

more, I'm enjoying every minute and

I am so grateful for the incredible

experience I've had so far!
