G'day!

Before starting your Sydney adventure at UTS, there are a few things you need to know. First and foremost, remember your sunnies, swimmers and thongs! Because after your yum avo toast for brekkie and studying in the morning, you'll most likely find yourself enjoying the sun in the arvo with a cuppa and a bikkie at one of Sydney's gorgeous beaches. But make sure to arrive early enough; cafes will be closed around 2! And if you are invited to a Barbie in the evo, be prepared that only a few Aussies are vego, so if you are, make sure to BYO!

Speaking of culinary adventures, protect yourself from the mozzies while enjoying a cold

schooner in the evening. Having said that, the diversity in your semester abroad will not just be in Aussi slang but in the people, you'll meet and the experiences you will have. Whether it's going on a surf camp at seven-mile beach, doing one of Sydney’s iconic coastal walks or making friends from all around the world on campus. Your time at UTS and in Australia will be an adventure like no other.

Now, let's talk about the heart of your Aussie adventure – UTS.

The UTS campus is an absolute ripper, and if you're anything like me, you'll probably end up spending most of your time here; it's a vibrant hub of activity. There is loads of natural light, greens to relax on and a beautiful library to study in. And let us not forget the cafes and the food court, where you can grab a cuppa or a bite while taking a break with your newfound

friends!

And when it comes to making the most of your time abroad, Australia offers many thrilling experiences beyond Sydney. During your study break, affectionately known as stuvac, you'll have the perfect opportunity to venture out and explore more of this incredible country. I seized the chance and embarked on an adventure up north to Cairns and then down the east coast to Brisbane. Along the way, I encountered wonders such as the world's oldest rain forest (including some crocodiles!) and the Great Barrier Reef. Snorkelling among the vibrant corals and diverse marine life was an adventure I'll cherish forever.

To come to an end, your upcoming semester at UTS will be a unique and vibrant experience.

Beyond the slang, friendly people, and your studies at UTS, you will have the chance to explore Australia and create unforgettable memories.

So, if you're nervous about starting the journey, don't worry! Apples she'll be alright! Your time in down under is going to be a ripper!
