Vivid Sydney is the world's largest festival for music, light and creative ideas and is taking place for the tenth time this year. For three weeks (this year from 25 May to 16 June), Vivid offers a varied program on the key themes of light, music and ideas every evening.

Vivid presents breathtaking light installations and large-scale 3D projections in the harbour, parts of the city, the Botanical Garden, Taronga Zoo and at Darling Harbour.

In addition, there is a diverse music program at various venues with numerous concerts, live music and a large number of lectures by experts from the creative industry.

There is so much to discover that you can easily visit Vivid for several evenings.

One highlight are definitely the 3D projections on the sails of the opera house. You have to see this.

At Darling Harbour, there is a spectacular water and light show with music.

There will also be great fireworks on Friday and Saturday evening at 8 pm.
