It’s been an absolute privilege and blessing to be able to have the opportunity to be here in Australia and study at UTS, so I have definitely been making the most of my time here while I can, and I have to say it’s been breathtaking so far.

A Typical Day

It usually starts off with me snoozing my alarm at least 2 times before getting up to start my day. I have a cup of tea and some toast for brekkie, (the British way of course) before going to class or on my next adventure. Most days are pre-planned out, to keep track of uni work and a social life. However, the weekends especially can be quite spontaneous. One day I will go have breakfast with koalas at the zoo, and another day I’ll be catching a coach to Jindabyne.

When I'm not studying you'll most likely find me...

Out & about somewhere! I always like to explore different places rain or shine (any excuse to procrastinate). Whether it be somewhere new to grab a bite, going on the ferry to another beach, cycling down to a different town, or even an expedition. But, on the chill-out kind of mood nights, I’ll be hanging out with some friends watching movies, or playing pool and table tennis on the roof!

My favourite thing about my experience abroad so far is...

Would definitely be the people I have met on this journey. It’s like that cheesy quote that goes “it doesn’t matter where you are, but who you’re with that makes life special”… I don’t think I would have seen or done half the things here in Australia without the friends I have made, and for that I am truly grateful to them all.
